Beautiful Spring Day

I thought it would be fun to share some of the photographs I captured on our land today in hopes that these may bring some sunshine into your life if you have been feeling down!

Spring is so beautiful and it is one of my favorite seasons to get outside with my camera. I hope you enjoy these beautiful little moments I had in nature.

Tulips stretching their petals, enjoying the 70 degree sunshine.

Our Lilac bushes are now sprouting their flower buds :D

Every Spring, we have a large patch of wild White Trout Lily's that bloom on the south side hill that goes down to our creek. They are only around for a short time, like most Spring wildflowers.

Miss Roxy soaking up the golden sunshine in our Wild Trout Lily patch :)

And here we have a few photos of a beautiful pair of Eastern Bluebirds coming and going from their home that sits just above our creek. Roxy and I were able to get outside for a good part of the day, lounging in the sun. I brought out my knitting supplies and soaked up all of the gorgeous sunshine while enjoying the nice company of these bluebirds.

Asparagus season is here!

I counted about 20 sprouts today. Woo!!! I am hoping we will have our first harvest in the next few days. I would like to try canning them this year, but we will see if I actually get around to it..

And of course, I had to include a photograph of our chickens! We have got some happy chickens over here! They are loving the fact that they can get out and once again forage for all the good stuff. This picture was taken a few days ago, but it still depicts the beautiful Spring days we've been experiencing.

And that concludes my little Spring photoshoot today!

I hope you are all doing well!

Take Care,
