Lessons

We understand that every rider learns differently and at a different pace. Here at Hay Creek Farm we work closely to develop an individualized plan for each rider to help them succeed in their riding goals. Time will be spent during lessons to teach students how to stay safe while grooming, tacking up and handling a horse. During the mounted part of the lesson students will learn the proper way to sit and the commands to direct the horse. As students progress in their riding abilities new and more complex exercises will be incorporated. It is our goal to not only provide a lasting education but to ensure that your riding experience is a pleasant one. It is important to us that your time spent here is enjoyable and safe.
